Mike and Nicole founded Mike’s Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to follow their vision of establishing a plumbing company rooted in integrity with exceptional service and pride in craftsmanship, something they could one day share with their sons. While their path was somewhat circuitous, they always believed they could succeed by focusing on quality work, fair pricing, and developing lasting relationships with customers.

Mike was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, by his mother and grandmother along with his three older sisters. It was there he met Nicole, a West Coast girl and his future wife, who was attending a nearby university and working as a nanny. Coincidentally, they both had a passion for physical fitness and met at the local gym. While exploring job opportunities, Mike accepted an offer to assist a plumber working for a property management company and quickly discovered his talent and passion for plumbing. Meanwhile, Nicole’s interests had turned toward physical therapy and the couple considered moving to Seattle so Nicole could continue her education at the University of Washington. When Mike received a job offer in Seattle that would allow him to expand his skills and knowledge of plumbing, the couple packed up and headed for the Pacific Northwest and have been here ever since. 

After more than a decade in the trade, the company was founded in 2001. Nearly 25 years later, Mike’s Plumbing continues to thrive through lasting relationships with homeowners, families, and property managers throughout Edmonds and the Greater Seattle area. The team that Mike and Nicole have built is trusted for their commitment to quality work at a fair price, the very vision that started it all.
